From September 18th – 23th Tryon, North Carolina hosts the 2018 World Championships in para-dressage. Stinna Tange, who is sponsored by Pressalit, is part of the Danish team.
On the very first day of the championship, Stinna and her horse Smarties were in action, which resulted in a place on the top of the podium. However, the victory did not occur without any challenges, as Stinna made an error early in her dressage program.
In spite of the mistake, the equipage fought their way back and all the way to the gold medal. Susanne Jensby Sunesen and her horse CSK's Que Faire also contributed to the Danish collection of medals, as they took bronze with a third place.
During the World Championship, Pressalits co-owner Dan Boyter is on site in Tryon, cheering the Danish para-dressage team on. Later this week the equipages compete in the discipline kür as well as the team competition. By winning an top three position, the Danish ridders will be able to secure the first quota spots for the Paralympic Games in Tokyo in 2020.
